A Bangkok desk for small-cap momentum

Datatransit Node prepares independent momentum maps for equity investors who work with thinner names and need a clear reading before capital moves.

Origin

Datatransit Node began as a research practice focused on one recurring problem: small-cap price moves that look decisive on a chart but lack durable participation underneath. Working from Bangkok, we built a repeatable way to map relative strength, liquidity, and sector context for investors who already know the names — and still want an independent second reading.

What we do

Our work sits in financial market analysis, with a narrow specialty in small-cap momentum mapping. We prepare written maps and briefings. We do not operate a brokerage, run client portfolios, or sell software seats.

Working approach

Every engagement starts with a defined universe. We prefer fewer names and sharper notes over encyclopedic coverage. Reservations are written down: if a leader looks exhausted, or if float makes size impractical, that appears in the map rather than in a soft verbal aside.

People and place

The desk operates from Level 6, 92 Ratchadamri Road, Bangkok 10330, within walking distance of the city’s main financial corridor. Briefings are held there or by video for clients outside Thailand. Correspondence is in English; Thai-language scheduling support is available when needed.

Values that show up in the work

  • Clarity over volume — shorter maps with named caveats beat long decks without judgment.
  • Universe discipline — we do not quietly widen the list mid-engagement.
  • Respect for liquidity — momentum without a path to trade is marked as such.
  • Client ownership — you keep the decision; we supply the reading.

Relationship to clients

Most clients arrive with an existing coverage list or a sector thesis. We are a research counterpart for a defined piece of work, not a standing investment committee. When an engagement ends, the map remains yours to revisit.
